Spring Break Art Camp at Mondaes is held on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday of NSD Spring Break for kids and youth, ages 6-10 & 11-17.
Our classes share Maker skills that create independent artists of all ages. Supplies are always included, and kids are proud of their finished products for a lifetime.
CLASS TIME: Mar. 27, 29, & 31, Mon, Wed & Fri. Ages 6-10 attend 10am-12noon, ages 11-17 from 1-3pm. Reserve all 3 Classes with a discounted Pass for $98, or each for $38. Class Passes are student-specific, and can not be shared. Choose your reservation at the pull-down tab!
FEE: $38 per student, or $98 a discounted student-specific pass for all 3 Classes. All materials, firing, mosaic supplies, and a personal loom are included.
CAMP CLASSES:
Mar. 27, Mon: Pottery Handbuilding and Wheel will cover the use of real stoneware pottery clay to create a pinch pot, coil pot, and wheel thrown pots. Your student will take home at least one of each type of pot or more.
Students will apply color to their hand-built pottery during class, but will need to leave their pieces for drying and firing. Pieces are picked up anytime after the following Wednesday after 6pm. Pieces can be shipped to kids from out of town.
Mar. 29, Wed: Weave on a Tapestry Loom. Commercial, novelty, and hand-spun yarns are used in this class to weave into beautiful tapestries. Each student will take home ample high-quality yarns to keep weaving with at home, their own Mondaes Slim Loom, (worth $19.98!), and a new appreciation for the world of textiles around them.
Mar. 31, Fri: Mosaic Mirrors. Mosaic Art Mirrors class will cover the process of creating detailed mosaic class artwork that can be hung on the wall indoors or out. Sorry parents, this ones just for kids!
Parents: While we know these topics are super cool and we all want to take the classes too, we will only have room for 20 students reserved. Picture taking of your own students is understood and welcome, but parents have standing room outside the open-air classroom, and drop-offs are encouraged once kids are settled.
Downtown Nampa is home to 14 non-chain restaurants, the Flying M Coffee house and the new Public Library... so check-in the kids and meet up with friends, or just get a well-deserved break!

Class fees may be transferrable but are not refundable. Mondaes reserves the right to cancel any class due to under-booking or in the unlikely case of an unexpected instructors absence. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified by a staff member by email or phone and offered a space in the next available class or a refund.
