This In-Person & Online Knit-Along features The Ultimate Stashbusting Throw Blanket - a Mondaes original pattern! This Knit-Along will urge you to throw knitting "rules" out the window, combining yarns of different weights and fiber contents together to use up bits and bobs of your leftover yarn.
This project puts YOU in the drivers seat: you decide what yarns to use and how big your blanket will be. Bring your yarn "stash" to the first day of the Knit-Along if you're local, or log in to the Private Facebook Group link once you purchase your kit, and you'll get the low-down on how to begin.
Join from anywhere! In-Store Knit-Along Sessions are held on Fridays in February from 10:30am-12:30pm (2/7, 14, 21 & 28).
Join in from afar by purchasing your Knit-Along Kit online and get access to the private Facebook Group which includes instructional videos! Liz Schandorff, your Knit-Along instructor, will check the Facebook group for Q and A, and knitters post their progress for feedback anytime. This knit-along welcomes knitters year round.
FEE: $48 covers the Ultimate Stashbusting Blanket pattern, instruction in 4 optional sessions to attend in January, and your invite to the Private Knit-Along Facebook Group with additional Q & A and instruction is offered. Please see yarn and needle requirements below under "Students Bring."
SKILL LEVEL: Students need to know how to cast on, knit, and bind off prior to this Knit-Along. Our Intro to Knit class covers these skills for beginners.
STUDENTS BRING: Size US 10-13 circular needles with a 40" cord (you can vary needle sizes and decide based on your stash), locking stitch markers. Use any yarn leftovers you have to create this project. Yarns use in our pictured blanket include Lanaloft Worsted and Bulky, Malabrigo Rios and Mecha, Soulstice Lace and various yarns from Rejuvaknit Mondaes Mill Ends Grab Bags.
Class fees may be transferrable but are not refundable. Mondaes reserves the right to cancel any class due to under-booking or in the unlikely case of an instructors absence. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified by a staff member via email and phone, and offered a space in the next available class or a refund.
