Georgies has created 8 Interactive Pigments to add to your surface design bank. These are a proprietary blend of raw oxides designed to help you create a lively, active surface that will engage with your clay and glaze. They are in a concentrated form and intended to be mixed 50:50 with water for application. NOT shiny/glossy on their own, and therefore not as washable as a gloss surface, labelled not washable/less food safe, though they are not toxic.
- Use under glazes for solid color coverage or design work
- Use them wiped-back for antique finishes to enhance texture
- Use over raw glaze for majolica techniques
- Use with wax resist & multiple glazes for inlays and other design techniques.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:Â Shake and stir well. Apply only 1 coat with a soft brush. Pigments may be thinned with water to lower the concentrations of color. As with all ceramic materials, do not eat, drink or smoke while working with clays or glazes.Â
