Been meaning to learn to weave? This class is for you! You'll learn warp & weave tension and basic color theory through this beginning weaver's scarf project. No need to have your own loom! Use one of Mondaes' or bring your own in working order.
FEE: $68 covers all instruction and use of a rigid heddle loom in class. Time to choose yarn is afforded before class, and choice is based on your preference.
CLASS TIME: This is a 2 session class with 3 hours to learn and weave each session, offered in day and evening slots. Please see pull-down tab for current dates and subscribe to our email newsletter so we can keep you posted.
SKILL LEVEL: Beginning through intermediate weavers. No prior experience necessary.
STUDENTS SUPPLY: Students may bring their own rigid heddle looms in good working order, with a reed that will allow for worsted weight yarn as a warp-width, generally 8 dpi or larger. Kromski Harp Looms are provided with your class fee for use. Please bring or purchase (once in class) at least 200 yards each of a worsted weight high quality yarn in 2 colors (400 total yards), wool or wool blend recommended.
